Curation Project: 20 "Romeo and Juliet" Objects

Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous stories written by Shakespeare and also one of the most famous stories throughout the world that transcends country and language.  Here are 20 different items that would be of interest to those who like this timeless story.

4. One of the most famous actors to play Romeo: Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1996 movie adaption.  Here is a gif showcasing him as Romeo

5. This is one of my favorite adaptions of "Romeo and Juliet."  It is a Bollywood film in which two young adults from rival political parties (and whose families are both running for office in the same town) fall in love amid political strife and upheaval.

6. "Warm Bodies" is a movie that came out in 2013 and it throws zombies into the "Romeo and Juliet" story.  "R" is a zombie who falls in love with Juliet, a human.  This movie has multiple other scenes/themes from the original story but adds the clever zombie twist.  Here is the Warm Bodies Official Trailer

12.  There have been a lot of funny and serious adaptions and portrayals of the "Romeo and Juliet" story.  This is a comedy skit performed by Studio C that portrays the hypothetical situation in which Juliet sees a therapist to talk about her love of Romeo: Studio C Juliet Skit
